Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Please be aware that our providers and staff members are following all guidelines established by the CDC to prevent the spread of this new infectious disease. Here is what you can do: Limit your travel, avoid large groups, practice social distancing, stay home. If you are feeling unwell, flu like symptoms fever, new cough, please cancel your appointment with us, contact your primary care physician or urgent care provider.
All patients are encouraged to take normal infection prevention measures including hand hygiene, avoidance of people who may be ill, especially those who are coughing or sneezing. If you are sick please stay home and call your primary care physican.
For our patients that are on biologic therapy, from our pharmacy staff:
We are encouraging our patients to follow the normal sick time rules which are to hold your dose if you are sick. If you have symptoms of the coronavirus: fever, cough or shortness of breath, then hold your dose and contact your primary care physician.
The Center for Rheumatology does not have the ability to test for this virus.
