For Albany and Schenectady Patients

The Center for Rheumatology does not require new patients to have a referral from their primary care physician unless the patients insurance requires it.. In the case of the patients’ insurance carrier requiring it then it is the patient’s responsibility to obtain the referral. If you or your patient is interested in a consultation with one of our professionals, please call 518-489-4471 and speak to a Patient Coordinator. For Saratoga and Queensbury Patients

The Center for Rheumatology requires new patients to have a referral from their primary care physician to be seen at this office. Saratoga office staff will request patient records and demographics.

When all required records are received, staff will make reasonable efforts to enrure that we;

  • Participate with your insurance,
  • Have all the records needed,
  • Once everything is in order, a patient will be registered in our practice system and will receive a phone call from staff to schedule their appointment. A welcome letter is then sent out to the patient. This letter includes new patient visit information.
