Welcome to our News Rheum Page. Please visit often as we post information about our practice and rheumatology.
More than 100 rheumatology patient advocates, including physicians, health professionals and patients took to Capitol Hill in early September for The American College of Rheumatology’s (ACR) annual Advocates for Arthritis event. Advocates called on legislators to support bills that would reform insurance company medication trial policies (ie: step therapy or “fail first”) and address the rheumatology workforce shortage which jeopardizes timely access to patient care.

Congratulations to our consulting pharmacist, Sooyeon Kwon, Pharm D, PhD, on her submission and acceptance of an ACR abstract on the article “Patient Perception of Benefit and Risks Associated with Hydroxychloroquine Use in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)."
